Welcome to Mizens Railway.
The railway will be open from Sunday 5th May, then every summer sunday until 29th September (except for 21st July)
Tickets can only be purchased from our ticket office on the day of your visit.
Our 2024 ticket prices will remain the same as in 2023.
We are now accepting both cash and card payments across our entire site.
Please click here for our address and postcode.
We are actively looking for volunteers to help run our railway. If this is something you'd be interested in, click here.
On running days, public access to the site from the car park may be barred until 15 minutes before we open while we prepare for running and while there may be vehicles moving in the public areas.
We are sorry, but due to the terms of our insurance, we are unable to carry children under the age of 12 months on the trains, or children under 10 years without an accompanying adult.
Our cafe will be open on most running days, located in the station building.
Mizens Shop is normally open running days from 2pm to 5pm.
The shop carries a large selection of toys, books, games, paintings by a local artist, railway prints, models, signs and railway badges, etc. including the Bigjig range.
Additional items can be ordered if not immediately available, please speak to the shop team who will be happy to help.
They also stock soft drinks and ice cream (May – September).
